I'm 90% sure I'll be there, I just spent a **** ton of money on parts too, new turbo twist wheels, porkensioner, wp and tb, new leather race seats, ball joints and tie rods, and a nice fresh coolant tank to top it off.

I got the engine compartment all done, refinishing the wheels next. So once it's all cleaned and looking good it will surely rain on the 29th.

This is a bit of a test but...here I am? My first post to rennlist!
I Purchased my 86.5 from Austin, Tx 2 weeks ago and am hoping to make Old Town this 29th. I live in Port St Lucie. I had a great trip in the old girl with a stay in New Orleans on the way home. I believe some people on this forum might know the history of this car?. It was once supercharged, is chipped w/custom exhaust, suspension, seats, etc. P.O. of the P.O. dumped a ton of $ in it and it came with great records. Its running great aside from a little clutch chatter. I'm still getting used to the heavy clutch feeling.
I was on this forum like 6 years ago when I had an '80 928. Then I drove an '82 for a few yrs which I sold to my neighbor last summer (I actually thought I could live w/out one).
I am so glad to be back and appreciate all the support that can be found here in this forum. And I am looking forward to meeting some other 928 fanatics! (can't get the car outa my blood - its like a disease)

Going to be a no go for me.
Been busy -- a new Children's Hospital is opening in town (today) and I am now recruited and working that weekend, in between my full-time job!
