Default drivers mirror glass just fell off, best place to get one?

The drivers side flag mirror glass fell off today, seperated from the backing plate. I have heated mirrors.

Where is the best place to get one?

Anyone have a nice used one?

Thanks,
Glenn

What's a recommended bonding agent to re-affix mirror to the swivel plate?

I lost mine last weekend. Glad to know it's not just me. Didn't even think to ask on the 'list, just shelled out a hundred bucks to Specialists for new aero mirror glass.

There are most probably a LOT more flag mirror glass lying around than aero mirror glasses.
I've still got my old flag mirror swivel plate. Tempted to buy cheapo locker door mirror from drug store and tack that to the base as an emergency spare.
Can't drive without the driver's side mirror. Too crazy of a blind spot.

I've been shoulder checking religiously ever since the glass fell off. You don't realize how much you use it until you don't have it.

Ernest,

I noticed mine wiggling free a couple of years ago, and was able to catch it mid-fall while driving along! Well, it's more like it came free just as I touched it, but all the same...!

I reaffixed it with 3M spray adhesive I got at the hardware store; nothing spectacular, but it's two years on.

Try a Multivex Mirror. I have a set and they are fabulous.
