Default Ultra rare Artz/Nordstadt 928 wagon for sale

Surprisingly there is an Artz/Nordstadt 928 wagon for sale up here in Norway.

http://www.finn.no/finn/car/object?f...2&WT.svl=Bilde

The first of only 2 built according to the seller, and it's been in Norway since 1985.

No affiliation, just thought it might interest the 928 crowd

Don't let me jinx the sale but I think it looks like a hearse conversion.

And I'm not a purist and am game to all those body modifcations tinkerers.

$41k USD! Well, that is about a factor of 10 to high! For about $4,100 it would sell, for even $10,000....uh, DREAM ON!!!

I too love the color and I like all the interesting things folks do to their 928's! Trucks, 4doors, Cabrios, Targas, I love them all! I'd have one of each if I had the money and the room!

I think it's kind of neat. It would probably look better with the original wheels though.

The wagon idea is kind of cool, but the conversion is much too boxy to line up with the original "round" shape.

It's probably so expensive because of Norwegian taxes and rarity. But the lights, steering wheel and seats might make it harder to sell, or affect the value a bit negatively, in my humble little opinion.

Yeah it's ridiculously expensive... you could get a half decent GTS for that kind of money.

Remember too that you guy's are extremely lucky in the States regarding cost of cars & parts.... you would be lucky if you found a crappy condition S4 for 10K USD here in Scandinavia.
Prices of 928's seem to be creeping up slightly in Germany too.

I think it's rather tasteless. Conceptually, I like the idea. A 928 wagon COULD be cool. The execution of this attempt sucked, in my opinion...

The tail should have been more rounded. The "utilitiarian" conversion goes against funky wheels & racing seats. I am surprised that the rear seats were retained. I think the space would have been best utilized as storage lockers...

Oh well. I've seen more hideous monstrosities, even in the Porsche world... To each their own though, I suppose.

It's very utilitarian if you need to carry stuff.
Interesting how the rear door cuts into the roof.

I've heard making custom glass like the rear quarter windows and rear hatch are very pricey.
