6 eastern time is too early for the east coast and far too early for those on the west coast to end the auction. 10 eastern is 7 western time, just barely enough time for the west coasters coming home from work to see it. I'm still partial to Sunday evening endings as most people going places over the weekend return by dinner time Sunday.
I would love others opinions. I too thought Sunday night would be the perfect end time. Like 9:30 eastern 6:30 pacific?
Just an update too. I just got the PSD working, and i swear the car feels faster. Seriously, would a PSD not active be like putting all the power to just one wheel? I am sure its all just mental, but now the PSD DOES IN FACT FUNCTION PROPERLY, its totally bled and full of fresh Castrol GTA-LM synthetic DOT 4 fluid (New formulation, TRY IT!)
I will also be posting pics of the underside of the car and the wheel wells in the photobucket page for those that are interested.

I usually end my listings around 10:00 P.M. eastern on Monday. If you run a 10 day auction from Friday to Monday, you get exposure over two weekends so there's more chance that the casual browser will see it. Not that a casual browser is most likely to buy your car but even the most dedicated 928 shopper gets tired of scanning eBay constantly. Trust me, I know.
Also, it seems to me that it's more likely that people would be at home to bid on Monday night more so than on a weekend night.

Nice idea
What am i going to replace this car with? seriously? I took the car out for a drive with the new PSD system in the car and am now having second thoughts! Damn, how nice this thing would be with a couple more mods like the lighter twin disc clutch and an X pipe, maybe finally get the Aero mirrors too...........
I will have a reserve and see where it goes, but I am starting to get excited about this car AGAIN! If it doesn't meet the reserve, I think I can learn to love this car again! I will probably get right on the twin disc conversion and have at it!

Amazing how a properly running shark can quickly change your mind about the car!
New cars are great and there are many out there that offer some serious performance for very little money, but so many of them lack any real character and presence. The shark on the other hand offers the same level of performance, maybe not as refined as a modern car but then again that is part of the fun. The shark definitely has presence, there is no doubt about that.

The thing I always loved about this car though, is the "potential power" you can get out of these things. 500 RWHP is available a number of ways. I can't think of a better starting point for a 600 hp car. For another $6-7 thousand, your in supercar terrirory. NOW THATS FUN!

There is no known "rod issue" with early '93 GTS's. Quit spreading that stupid rumor.
I also have seen allot of ROW cars with drivers air bags and the older style non airbag dash. Odd, some ROW cars seem to have been built with "whatever was left over" so to speak in that one car can look totally different from any other that was built in the same build year.

So while your here and since you commented and i figure you would know. When a person checked the leather option on the interior, for 90 what did that include? I know packages changed from year to year, market to market and I suspect it no longer included the dash, center console and pod. Can you confirm this? Where you get this info from i have no idea. But I suspect that my car has an option, which used to be full leather (probably was still called full leather) and you could also then supplement that package with other leather parts, like the pod, the dash, the switch gear, the ac vents (leather covered AC vents is AWESOME!)

Yes, he's had advice from about 10 different people to do a simple easy to read advert and has ignored them. For my 2c the car will not pass $20,000.

Seriously, how many times do i have to say i RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE!
Get off this "easy to read" stuff. I got the point, i disagree with it, so lets move on already. And again, quite beating a dead horse.

I am aware of the factory's efforts in that regard. What I am not aware of is an example of a rod actually failing due to design.

Charley , Greg Brown has several examples of bent GTS rods that he has removed from engines , he showed me the box full. There was and is a problem with those early rods.

No one has invented a rod yet that that has never bent or broke.
Now if you can assure me that a 2R rod has never been damaged I will have to adjust my attitude.
