BTW..This owner has a White 86.5..no sunroof...no rubstrips..5 spd....lsd...black leather interior, rebuilt motor by Devek and now is running a Lomas X pipe into stock pipes back... If I were looking for a 86.5....this would be the one . too bad he's not selling the car LOL.

Any pictures on the exhausts? Its difficult to understand how they may have routed stuff.

The reason I ask is that I was planning on doing a custom stainless exhaust, but I have some different routing needs near the gas tank area.

my understanding from talking to him is that they follow the stock 86.5 routing.....that I believe is the same until you get to the rear muffler

Not sure if one can just bolt a 87+ muffler on to it and call it good though?? anyone know?

Interesting that with the built engine and X pipe he went back to factory cat back.

Yep..he had it dyno'd after the rebuild (it was just a stock rebuild..nothing fancy) and didn't have super numbers like he was led to believe. He checked with us..and spoke with Dave Lomas and pretty much when to stock manifolds and xpipe. Looks like the xpipe and stock manifolds is still the best bang for the buck..at least for stock or mildly modified motors

Default 86.5 custom exhausts F/S

I'm posting these pictures for Tom M. on behalf of the owner of the parts "Carl"
Carl sent me these 35mm 3x5's in the snail mail so I could I.D. them, I can't use
them for my custom project but thought they would be a perfect upgrade for the stroker / boosted crowd . The 3'' catalytic convertor's are made by Random
Technologies ( ceramic core ) That whole assemble with X was made by Devek
to fit the 85-86 cars. It also has the warm up tube installed, ready to bolt right
into place. Carl said he only put 3K miles on that set up, It is practically new &
at a price of $400.00 it is a heck of a good deal for someone. The rest of the
stuff Tom M. has already given a description of . Carl can be reach through
Tom M. , just as he has originally set up this thread in the begining. I'm just
trying to help by supplying some pictures, the post started without pictures &
now that the parts are viewable you guys should take a second look at this stuff
there are some pretty good values in there...
