I just searched the forum for a mention of it, but can't find a reference to it. I just noticed that the rear window trim has a "928" logo stamped into it at the bottom. It's hard to see because it's obscured by the spoiler and you have to really lean in to see it. It kind of reminds me of discovering an Easter egg in a software program!

IIRC there was a thread ont his about a year ago and we came up with 13+ different locations for the "928" logo depending on MY.

From memory:
Brake and clutch pedal - 2
rear window - 1
door sills - 2
Horn pad - 1
rear insignia (option) - 1

Thanks to Brad I have the 928 logo on the hatch and without the spoiler its there for all to see 8>)

Later cars don't have it. Can't remember exactly when it was deleted but think it was gone when S4 came at least.

My '87 has it. I think that was the real reason for the flip-up spoiler - to make it easier to look at the logo.

hmm... must've been deleted sometime during the '89 MY production, because mine doesn't have it.
