That sucks! The thought of that sleek *** that I followed a couple of weeks ago down the BRP at a "nice" rate of speed being damaged is distressing! I agree on the S4 rear....Glad you weren't hurt. Our cars sit so low

+1 - that's exactly what I thought on seeing GTS covers on two different cars I saw, including a GT I walked away from

Sorry to hear this! I always cringe when a shark gets hurt - even more, if it's a pretty one!

Make sure you have an experienced body shop inspect the damage thoroughly. There could be lots of hidden damage underneath that bumper cover!

While wokring at the Autohaus many years ago, I saw many cars that looked as if nothing had happened, but once the cover was off there was serious damage.

Maybe it's time to look for and stock a used S4 bumper cover...

That sucks. I'm not sure if you have a body shop in mind, but I would really recommend Autometric Collision in Pontiac:
580 S. Telegraph Rd.
Pontiac, MI 48341
Tel: 248.332.0600.
That's their European only shop. They have worked on both ends of my A6 4.2. It was usually the cheapest car in the shop.

Andrew sorry about your accident, I hope it all works out for your best. Check the rear bumper shocks once they are hit they are toast, they might pop out but they wont be able to take another 5 mph collision. The rear cover can be repaired with some of the new PU bumper repair kits in the mean time i would try to pop out the cover so it doesent take a set

Sorry to hear of this Andrew, especially after what you've gone thru to get it back to the bwaaaaaah again recently. Glad it wasn't any worse. Shawn's right though, many a Porsche gets hit cause some dumb *** tries to follow too close, then realizes way too late that his brakes are too puny to match a Pcar's. Some of us were talking about that while at SITM in fact. Maybe just to feel better about it when he started with the attitude you should have dented him to match your bumper!
