What a fantastic weekend.

3 timing belts/water pump jobs, one clutch slave job, one brake job and FINALLY got my motor mounts/pan gasket done and followed that up with steering rack bushings made out of some cool stuff. We put a neutral safety switch on Roger's GTS and Jim and he are putting Ott Drop links on Jims GTS right now.

Damn good weekend.

Sucks about Brad's red 928, he blew out a front seal? As in front seal on the oil pan, front seal on a cam tower, front seal for the bottom end? Not quite sure what exactly that meant.

Outside of that awful luck, it was amazing. Brad (The other one) and Joann were amazing, well, so was everyone else. I said it before, but I can't remember the last time I had that much fun. I'll drive back up to Dallas to do that again. Maybe I should just start doing work with the guys down here in Austin - there's bound to be some 928s needing a wrench turner to save one of yall some bloody knuckles.

Whoohoo! Finally two working lights inside the car! Not really much of a challenge, it just was never a priority and kept getting bumped from the order lists until now.

C'mon out to SD Doc, and let me edumacate you on how skill equates to speed and adrenalin flow on a performance sailboat. Any idiot can push a throttle...

Damn Doc, Failbote? Harsh.

Ed, it takes skill to push that trottle, adjust the trim and read the waves, just as it does on a sail boat. I've lived in both worlds. What I know best is, us go-fast boaters really **** you blow boaters off.

She's still a decent looking boat and seems to be getting better. Nice work.

Who knew?
