Many thanks to Doc, Rodger and Sean today.
The 911 is alive!!!
For some reason Doc said I need to put everything back like I found it. I never was much on directions. It turns out it was mostly timing and the dreaded CIS setup. I now have a resurrected love for the P cars after watching the 911 run down the street with Roger at the wheel (We did have to use the recovery vehicle and retrieve Roger as he was walking back to the shop). Damn Brits can't drive a 5 speed. Sorry Rog I will put a auto-stick in ASAP.
Thanks for everyones help.

I am planning to knock off a few of the things on my list.
1) change power steering hose. check, got hose from Rog, hope to get this done this week.
2)get rear struts installed. Lined up shop, as my garage is full of broken Nova right now.
3)get 4 wheel alighnment. after I get car back from new struts going in.
4) need to find fuel leak, seems to be getting worse, coming from the rear of the car. If I can't find it, I hope the guy doing the struts can see it.
5) tires, once car is aligned.
I have a bit of a list built up, I was waiting for a quarterly bonus that just arrived, so now I can get a few things knocked off the list, and start driving it again!
Wheee!

Doc is flippin marvel when it comes to getting cars goin.
I learnt a lot about CIS cars and how to use a "colour tune".
I told Doc I had one at home that I bought when I was 20. Thats 36 years ago and sure it enough I found it still unused and in the box.
This is now my latest tuning tool.
Thanks also to Brad because I snagged a four post lift this weekend for a small amount of $.
Jo Dub,
Thanks for lunch.

Yes, and thanks for the swim and the Tuna sandwich. It was fine. I'm thinking back to the last time I was at Brads. Through a haze of beer, I do recall trying to adjust the mixture, so I may have moved the mixture myself out of range. Oops.
It still wouldn't have started without re-syncing the dizzy. Felt good to use my 'tool' again.
