Ed, I heard a bad rumor.

That you were selling Ruby.

You can't do that.

My daughter will want it almost as much as I would.

Tell us the truth my friend.

No truth to that.....I'm hitting Deb up for another P-car, and she's "suggesting" I do that. I'm constantly wearing her down, however.

In fact, Ruby is getting her new wheels when they come off the forge, and is going in to a local pro afterward to get the final suspension tweaks that are out of my realm of ability, along with the necessary new alignment and a corner balance.

Ed do they have the point system on tickets in Cali? How many points have you racked up on your license?

No tickets or points....knocking on wood. The key is to get out early in the morning. The cops lay in wait for the morons that come barreling down the roads at 10:00am. Probably like shooting fish in a barrel to them.

BTW, I got approved for a decent amount for another P-car on 1/1/09. I'm well into good 928 territory, and into so-so 993 territory, so I still have some work to do.

Did Deb approve this or did PNAC decide you didn't spend enough on the house and have room for another P-car purchase?

Ed,
I read an article this weekend that a lot of people who upgraded to a 996 or 997 are selling and going back to the 993. Apparently, like you said before, the newer cars are just too far removed from the road and people want that genuine sport car feel.
I kind of feel the same way about the 928. Although not as much power but the older cars feel less heavy and little more responsive to the driver. But thats just me.

Deb "approved" it effective 1/1, but she's sort of reneging on the original deal moving back to Cali.

Some think the 993 is bloated too.
