Ed, I heard a bad rumor.
That you were selling Ruby.
You can't do that.
My daughter will want it almost as much as I would.
Tell us the truth my friend.

In fact, Ruby is getting her new wheels when they come off the forge, and is going in to a local pro afterward to get the final suspension tweaks that are out of my realm of ability, along with the necessary new alignment and a corner balance.

No tickets or points....knocking on wood. The key is to get out early in the morning. The cops lay in wait for the morons that come barreling down the roads at 10:00am. Probably like shooting fish in a barrel to them.
BTW, I got approved for a decent amount for another P-car on 1/1/09. I'm well into good 928 territory, and into so-so 993 territory, so I still have some work to do.

Ed,
I read an article this weekend that a lot of people who upgraded to a 996 or 997 are selling and going back to the 993. Apparently, like you said before, the newer cars are just too far removed from the road and people want that genuine sport car feel.
I kind of feel the same way about the 928. Although not as much power but the older cars feel less heavy and little more responsive to the driver. But thats just me.
