Angry Ahhh.... hit by a soccer mom!!

Damn soccer mom's!!
Leaving my son's training this afternoon and a lady reverses without looking....
Thought for sure she had seen me so let her roll back about a foot.... but no she keeps coming! I blast the horn, with about a meter to spare, but to no avail..... crunch!

At least it was only my car and not one of the young kids on their bikes or running around!!

All that at a couple of km/h....

Yet last week I got away with virtually no damage flying around Nurburgring in excess off 200km/h!!
Oh, apart from a Suziki swift that drifted across my line after indicating for me to pass!! We swapped paint at about 160km/h, luckily it buffed right out

If it was here in the states I'd bet she'd have a phone stuck to her face. Of course, her conversation with the person she's going to see or just left five minutes ago is much more important than driving.

One big pet peeve of mine. Freakin ppl and their cell phones!! Cars should have a built in jammer that does not allow for calls while the car is in motion.

Oh crap, that sucks. On the bright side, it looks a lot better than the a-hole that hit my former '86 years ago in a parking lot and took off...

I've seen some quality videos featuring soccer moms. Maybe an arrangement?

I'm in my truck..............3/4 ton 4x4 Chev Duramax and this lady backs out of a stall oblivious to my oncoming. I get on the brakes, horn and swereve to get an eventual 'sorry' and wave.

The 928 is somewhat lower so I drive very defensively in traffic period.............think motorcycle.

When the exact same thing happened to me it was because the lady was lighting her cigarette while she was backing out. I guess she figured it was better to focus all of her attention on the cigarette rather than her driving.

I have a pretty good driving safety record (haven't touched another car with mine or had an accident in >30 years) but I can think of a few instances that would have ruined that record if I hadn't been lucky and the other guy alert.

Is there anybody here who can honestly say they haven't f@*ked up and been saved by luck? Or not. ;-(

I wish there were an easy way to indicate to another driver just how sorry you are to have been caught with your mind down and promise them, believably or not, that you'll strive to keep it from happening again.

(No application, of course to the jerkwad idiot you had to do a Richard Petty on. He needed to wake the f*#k up and move the f@#k over!!! ;-) ;-) )

Man, that sucks!

Last week I'm sitting in a parking lot waiting for my wife to come back from the ATM. A woman pulls into the spot next to me and opens the door SMACK into my mirror. There was no wind, no excuse, she was just oblivious to the implications of her actions.

Luckily no visible damage but she got all pissy at ME when I yelled, "HEY!". I can't believe how clueless some people can be.

I always tap my breaks so my brake lights flash whenever I'm stopped and cars are approaching from behind me. Between being so low and being a grey car, I'm just looking to get 'Sterling-ed' right in the ***.
