Default 83 928S rear spoiler

Good Morning and a great one to dive back into putting this car back in the order it was made. I was wondering if anyone had an used rear spoiler for an 83 928S? The PO installed a Pontiac Grand Am spoiler on this hatch and it drives me crazy knowing it belongs in the nearest dumpster.
The spoiler doesn't have to be perfect, but would like to have all the mounting hardware intact. I was wondering if the rubber rear spoiler has any specail mounting needs as the rear hatch is not the original, but from a year with the upper brake light attached. On this it has been removed. Again any leads are much appreciated. If your out driving today........I'm JEALOUS!!!

Well My search for the rear spoiler for my 83 ended quickly....Many Thanks to Fabio for having one for me to purchase....I'm looking forward to its arrival so I can DEEP SIX the PO's weak attempt at trying to make it look like a S4. Returning it back to the original look will allow me to sleep better at night! Glad to be part of this Forum!!!

Where did you buy your car? I swear there was a thread not that long ago about a 928 with a Pontiac rear spoiler.

EDIT - found it, pictures are no more:

You also need all the trim for the hatch window.

Where the spoiler sits on the hatch there is no black metal trim. The trim for cars with S spoilers and those without is completely different. Same is true for the 1/4 window trim and seals....

Well Jim, I didn't know that....thanks for the info...When I get home I will have to check the trim areas out. So if I want a S spoiler on it....it should have metal trim or not? Seeing the stuff the PO has done to this it wouldn't surprise me....but I did get it for a song so a have lots of patience to slowly get it back were I can enjoy running around in the summers with it...so I will visit 928 Intl for the pieces I need ....right? I have your catalog right on the coffee table too!

Jim, Skiviking has a car that used to have an S spoiler but the PO removed it and replaced it with a Pontiac spoiler. The PO most likely replaced the missing pieces of trim at that time. Am I incorrect in thinking that he should be able to remove the lower trim pieces and re-install the S spoiler in the original mounting holes and discard or sell the extra trim pieces that he will no longer need?

Let me know if you need the qtr trim for the S spoiler as I have removed my S spoiler and have three pcs per side. The only thing that I dont have 4 sale is the top u shaped pc. I was able to keep that and use it with the new qtr trim.
