Lets see its May . I'm going to ride by your shop in December, and if your 928 is still sitting there , I'm going to have 2 tow trucks come by .
One for your 928 , the other for the Rolls Royce.
So at least you get rid of the Rolls this way.
Get TO WORK!
I would offer better motivation like showing up on weekends with beer, but my wife is bout ready to pop.
Lilttle girl this time!

Motivation
Know what you mean; I have had 928 jobs that drag on for months
Mostly due to delays in getting the correct tools or correct parts.

As they say in AA, don't think about the end result just take it one day at a time - every day do something small

I am getting quite experienced in the art of assembly. Now, how to get the entire engine/tt/trans and suspension assembly out the bottom of the car, I can do with my eyes closed.

Congrats on the little girl, I just got my first grand kid, a boy.

Funny you should mention the RR, my wrecker driver came by today and told me he has made almost 2 grand this year alone taking it from shop to shop.
The bad thing about it is that I know what it is going to take to fix it, but the owner did not like the figure I gave him and he does not want to hear that from anybody else it looks like. good riddance to that POS.

I did work on it today for a few, while waiting on the heads for my C4.

Come see us man.

The 997's were my second choice.
The 996 5-spokes don't come in a friendly front offset - they're ET50 on the front end, altho' some people run the rear 18x10ET65 996 wheels on the front.. not sure what rears they use.

Hacker will know - I vaguely recall he has a bunch of the 18x10 996 rears for one of his cars.

All in good fun Greg. Everybody needs a day off once in a while. Get out of Dodge for a day. Do something to break routine.
