Right now I'm into tractors, old snowmobiles, 928's and motorcycles. A while back I was collecting and restoring horse drawn vehicles. I was also raising morgan horses that I use to pull them. At the peak I had 7 horses (all black) and about 15 vehicles.

The sh*t shoveling finally got to me All the toys I have now can just be parked and forgotten when I don't have time to play

Really? My dad used to do that professionally. Market for his genre dried up for a while though.

I posted on this before so I can just cut-n-paste...

My 928, of course
Acoustic guitar (my brother builds exceptional acoustic guitars Quick plug for Doerr Guitars )
Art collecting, Japanese Woodlock Prints are my favourite
My art sales E-business Quick plug for Recherche
Website creation Quick plug for BBP
Watching movies, love Hitchcock
Mountain Biking (I'm getting lame in my old age, so it's become light trail riding)
My job feels like a hobby from time to time. I really like it some aspects of it such as concept renderings. Here's one I did for SPARK Engineering.

Yeah, there still isn't much money in novels. I pay for my 928 with my other hobbies, which are film critique and travel writing, comedy writing.

SA-WEET! Hey, if you ever get the chance, I would like to buy a nice R2 unit from some of the R2 guys. I don't have the time or talent to put one together myself, but I would LOVE to buy one!

I like the one that has the DVD player and video projector built in to it! I LOVE it, but it is to small! I want a full size one!

Used to be collecting old wristwatches, but I've managed to find some self control and have stopped accumulating them.
Lately it's been vintage JBL speakers (L series). I really need to stop w/the speakers.

If you REALLY want to part w/ your money fast find some MBL 101's! They sound FREAKING AWESOME and are made in Germany just like our fine auto's! The problem is that a new pair today will cost you $56,000!!! YEOW! Thanks in large part to the Euro/dollar ratio!

Did you make the Rose Parade a couple years ago with the rest of the group? I was the guy in the white suit (one of hundreds) and happened to be the Parade Manager.

George Lucas was the Grand Marshal, for those playing along at home. The 501st is a group of volunteers who gather and donate HUGE amounts of time and effort to lots of worthy causes. My first thought when we heard about them in the parade was a bunch of couch potatos who dress up in costumes, but they are are anything but. A full spectrum of folks from all walks and professions.

My hat is off to you sir!

Stereophotography. I plan to make a series of 3D pictures of rebuilding and fitting the engine.

I used to have a much wider range of hobbies.

Sailing Hobie/Prindle catamarans-sold them
Power boating-sold it
SeaDoo's- one was race prepped-sold both
Computer gaming
SCCA A/X

Now I just pick up the odd 1:18th scale car and work on the 928's.

Marriage has converted pretty much all my hobbies/habits into history. Now I work sometimes, work on the house, play with the car when time allows, and work on the property. From April to November, I harvest brush-fire fuel on a fairly continuous basis. Still find time to troll Rennlist though, and work on the car when it's needed. In the second half of the year and through New Years Day, we do a little volunteer work to support the little neighborhood parade and football game. Somehow manage to stay busy.

Previously:

Designed/built and raced sailboats, IOR class
built fast boat motors
small-bore drag racing
Built and campaigned a few sports racers in SCCA. (Good builder, not so good driver.)
did restos on a few vintage cars
have a few 80's GP motorcycles somewhere (not so good rider)
played some ice hockey
somewhat competitive speed skater
downhill skier
taught a few classes
