Paragliding.

Any other paragliding or hang-gliding pilots here?

Interesting thread indeed........I am into a few hobbies like most here. I am a Amateur(Ham) radio enthusiast/operator. I have an antique radio collection from an 1929 to 50's/60's table tops. I own a 70's vintage Hagstrom Bass guitar that I haven't played in 10 years, just can't sell too many memories...plus I love my german cars...my 928, my 92 Jetta and my 89 E30 325Ic...under reconstruction...tnx

Does testing track cars count as a hobby?

Default more to life than cars...?

In the early 80's I played guitar for the band "The Press". I kept my old gibson electric, and suzuki acoustic, since then I've picked up this ovation collectors edition, and a yamaha nylon string guitar...

Now I just play to keep my 2 year old entertained...

Roger, My mom inherited a giant antiques store outside Kansas city and recently found a ton of stamps from all over from the early to mid to late 1900's. Is there a source you can suggest for pricing this stuff? Whats the best way for her to sell it? Auction house, online website, ebay? If you were selling, how would you go about it?

Not really an 'odd' hobby, but I like to do a bit of fishing on my boat.

This thread is actually quite interesting as we are learning quite a bit about each other that would normally never come up.

I, like many, have several hobbies other than the 928 collectables..it's just finding time to do them all.

Long time musician so I have several instruments as well as having played in many states and internationally. I am into antiques and art to some degree as well.

One of my favorites has been aquariums since I was a kid. Won a few awards with a few tanks over the years. Like anything else, they just keep getting bigger.

used to do a lot of snow skiing, flying (owned a plane), diving (divemaster rating), off road racing (200/2001 AMA 250cc desert and best of the west champ). have also done a bit of hang gliding, sky diving and cave exploring, way back when I was immortal.

I don't know how I found the time for all that now that I have a kid. now it's just an occasional PCA AX and the kids hobbies - baseball, soccer and wrenching on his off road bike or bike or whatever he broke that week. oh, and lots of landscaping projects...

I won't tell ANYbody what I collect.

I once did what Randy does, and kept a knife handy to eat 'em right there on the deck. Then I became a vegan. Now I just walk around hungry all day long.
You'll find me grazing in the park most of the time.

Those are pretty cool Keith, I may get into that, i know of a wall that could use a nice low profile aquarium built into it somehow. i like that top picture, very simple but very much my style. I think those could end up costing more then 928's though. (i need to make more money)
