Default Update

Painted the fender Sunday, will colorsand and buff this weekend. Also repainted the wing and a set of mirrors that ARCFLEMING gave me.

Hey man that looks fantastic! See? I told you it wasn't going to be so bad in the first page of your thread.

What are you going to use to buff? I am going to be respraying my front cowl trim and roof of my car and need some ideas on what to use to buff.

I was still in "What a dumbass I am" mode when I first posted. I am going to use 3M perfect-it rubbing compound and polishing glaze. The Perfect-It pads are great.
Another shot

nice job! sterling should have you help him wrap up his shark... oops..

my wifey has taken the mirrors off the F150 3x in the last 2 years by hitting sides of the garage opening. guess telling her "this is only 6" messed up her distancing hahahha

Nice Brian.

This can't possibly be your first time painting judging by the results. Nice job redeeming yourself

Not my first time, I just didn't want to do paint and body on this car. I had a Sterlingesque experience when I was younger so I learned by trial and error.

If you've never tried 3M Trizact this is an opportunity to give it a shot. It makes colorsanding and polishing so easy you almost feel like you're cheating.

I still have a lot of the 3M perfect-it pads/polish left, I will have to try the Trizact sometime. Hopefully not on this car.
