By the way, I'll bring a printed copy of the article in the new Autobaun Ambition about
Open Road Racing the 928. Of course you can download it yourselves if you want at
http://www.autobahnambitionmag.com/ and look at pages 50-55. It features some of
your favorite ORR'ers, including Tim and Bill.

kind of a trade off with 20% less wind resistance, isnt it? (oh yeah 20% less power too)

sounds fun though!

Really a nice cronicle of your entry into and progress through the classes George. Thanks for including us and the other 928 ORR participants also. See you tomorrow.

GTS is ready to rock and roll. I also did the BG Products thing and may have solved my pre ignition thing.

I'm thinking I'll be there around 9:30AM if that works for you.

I'll call you a little later.

Okay you gotta admit its just a shade embarrassing that your 928 is SO filthy on the cover of a magazine....... Too bad they didn't take the picture THIS year...since it looks way better now!! (plus it will go faster too)

Brian,

That's called character... It shows that the car went fast out in the "wild" and
killed lots of bugs (and a couple of birds ). It's not just another pretty face
that's afraid to get dirty...

I'll do a follow on article for this year. Hopefully I'll have a better season and
I'll take some before photos to show off your handy work

Things should be well underway about now. Hope the weather is nice this weekend.

Unsticking.

Feel free to start a new follow-up thread for post-event discussions and pics.

Weather was perfect, crowd was huge. Ribs and all other food was all gone by 1:30. Funride was fun. More details and pics will follow.

Here is me at the beginning of the day. WILL IT ALL FIT??? NO PROBLEM!! Although the nine bags of ice I picked up on the way made things a little tight.
