DUUDE! Come on. I wanted to see them try to strap your car down with those WIIIIIDE tires.

Hopefully we'll see you at the next GTG.

Guys, I tried to reach TT several times today and got two no answers (I left a message the first time), and then I got a busy signal. But I never got a chance to call back after the busy so I'll have to try again tomorrow. Sorry!

However, from dealing with this crew in the past, I can suggest that a likely start time will be around 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. That's usually when they start moving around there.

Are there still open slots for the dyno? I'd be interested in doing a pull to get a baseline of where my car's at right now

Hi All....I called TT early this morning, hoping against hope. LOL. They must have gotten my several messages, because they changed their voice mail message for the first time since I've been dealing with them. Their message said that today, June 19, they were at Pocono Raceways, and would be back in the office tomorrow.

So I'll be trying again tomorrow!

I guess there is no need to swing by tonight then. Most shops usually get crazy around track days.

Default Got them!!

Hey Guys!

Good news! TT Performance finally called me back this morning. We are all set for July 12, with a rain date of July 19, the following Saturday. The rain date only applies if it is torrentially downpouring on the day. Minor drizzle does not matter, but having very wet cars on the dyno rollers isn't great, according to Billy.

We will get started at 10:00 am, so ideally people should start showing up around 9:30 so we can get right on the machine at 10:00. He said to figure about 2 cars an hour, between the tying down, doing two pulls, allowing ten minutes for the car to cool down, and then two more pulls, per car. We can stay until 6:00, if we have that many cars, but that's going to be a very long day. If we're going to Cubby's after the dyno event, some people may not make it.

This is going to be an awesome day. Mike, thanks for thinking of it and getting the ball rolling!

Sounds Great,

Hope it doesn't rain because I can't make the 19th.

Hate to step in line but can I schedule my first car amongst the first 3 or 4 since I have to swap cars to do 2. Also they don't have much parking room. How many of us are there and is there a place we can park while waiting?

Anthony, good questions.

Of course, we can let you in early with your first, so you can make it back with your second...no problem at all. Just be one of the first to arrive, ok?

As for parking, their lot does suck, you're right about that, but you know that big warehouse/factory/whatever building across the street? There is usually plenty of room there for parking along the side of the road in front of it. I figured we'd do that.

Leslie,

I just got the idea out there, you really made it happen.

Anthony, you can go first as far as I'm concerned too, you're the only one with two cars and one driver .

Leslie, I'm out of my element completely up there, so if you don't mind continuing to run this as far as parking and the meet at Cubby's that would be great.

Adam and I just took my intake and cam covers apart yesterday so now I've got to get everything cleaned, painted, and reinstalled in a couple of weeks. I don't know what I was thinking. I'll be there though.

Mark, I don't know enough about this stuff to really respond, but I'm sure they've got their own way of doing things there and I wouldn't presume to walk in there and tell them how to strap down my car on their dyno. I can try to pay attention and see if there's any difference between the cars during 'coast down' and whether or not they seem to be any tighter than any other time. Other than that, I won't make any commitments.

Slippage???
So do people also mark their rims and tires to make sure the tire doesn't slip on the rim?
Just wondering.

Mark, I gotta be honest with you....TT has tied our cars down too tight in the past. Bent several of our control arms.

Now Kevin keeps a sharp eye out on what they are connecting to, and how tight they strap down, because we don't have any more spare control arms for them to bend on us.

I'm kinda thinking it's maybe not such a good idea to cinch down tighter than normal. But I too will be happy to monitor the phenomenon with Mike to the extent that anything reveals itself with the various cars. Ok?

Mike, I'm happy to assist in any way I can, of course.
