Default Body mod progerss..

Now that the major stuff is done around the house I am allowed to get back to the fun projects. THE 928

I finally had a chance to fit on all of the pieces I made to see how it will look on the car. I still have a way to go in finishing the pieces. I made them so they are "bolt on " parts in case they get damaged.

The parts/mods consist of;
..Boxed side rocker panels
..custom front spoiler
..S4 rear hatch and fiberglass S4 spoiler.
..functioning ram air hood

What do you guys think so far. Likes and dislikes.....

Thats a lot of work!! Hard to tell what it will all look like at this stage. Who cares what others like, it all about what suits you! Be prepared for some overly honest opinions. I wish I had the talent to attempt a project like this.

I like the ground effects but really don't like the hood scoop.

Are you going to put a Firebird emblem on to finish it off? (just razzing ya)

The hood scoop looks worse than it is . Just a bad angle, only sits about 1.5 in off the hood. Looks alot better when it is also bolted down. As for the "firebird" do you any suggestions

+1 on that comment.

At first glance, the hood stood out as a no-no for me. But now I think I see where you're going with it. I'd like to see it with the suspension settled on it. With this body work stuff you never really no how it will look until its done. Best of luck to you.

One more comment....Paint it black. I think it would look pretty sinister.

Linky

I do respect the work you've put in to it. I'm interested to see how it turns out.

I don't understand why people butcher these cars? They are a beautiful timeless design!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose!

is the front opening on the hood fed from in front of the condenser and then that high pressure air will travel the hood under the cover to meet the base of windshield air? I do think with the base of the windshield has plenty of volume potential to feed the car with out dropping the pressure in that area.

I think it is cool that you are creative enough to see that in your head and skilled enough to make it happen. I cant wait to see it painted
