If you look through the gap in the cap and rod you can just see the notch.
The bearing locks are both on one side and the pics just happen to show the sides without the locks.

something beautiful about a clean engine..

v-engine noob q: are there any sort of dividers that go between the paired conrods on each journal? or can they rub eachother?

Very nice! So what are some of the technical details? Bore, stroke, rod length, rod journal size, crank, piston & rod weights, crank manuf., that kind of stuff. It looks like the rod journal is gundrilled (?) in one photo, but solid when the crank is in the box.

Class.........I don't need no stinking class!

I think its more about cylinder walls. I think i need them!

ITE is anything goes. and once you go over stock bore on a porsche, you are pretty much in the unlimited class in PCA as well.

I dont know the exact dimensions, but i thought it was over a 102 bore. after all , these are JE 968 aftermarket pistons.

Erik?

The one picture shows the box for the rings, and it says 4.085" on the label. That's about 103.8mm.

Over ~6.5L requires replacing the cylinders completely.
