Ok, I'm about to start the process of changing out my front bumper cover due to a fender-bender a few weeks ago. I don't know about you, but I've never ever used my headlight washers, other than to test to see if they worked.
Since I will be getting a new (non-dented) bumper cover and having it painted, I was thinking about just getting the holes closed and disconnecting the plumbing. The only thing they're good for now is to accumulate wax.
Thoughts?
Oh, and any ideas as to why I can't start my car in neutral (Auto), but only in Park?

Turn lights on so they come up, press wiper lever forward! They will probably shoot over the top of your car![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
At least that's what I remember you have to do to use them - it's been a long time...

I like the concept of the washers, but I've never once used them. I have a hard time believing they would remove any of the film that would accumulate on the lights. And it's not exactly like I'm going to be off roading with the thing, where I might get mud or something on them that could be washed off.
So I'd vote nay. Get rid of them.

Converted the plumbing for this unused feature to drive the air / water intercooler for the Murph Supershark install. A way better use of the weight.

I've used them and it helps blast the bugs off the headlights, they also help loosen up the grime and grit if you give it a good soaking before pulling into the gas station and then use their squeegee to finish the cleaning.
But if I was repainting, I'd delete them as I hate waxing around those things.
