When I first got my car I made a list of the things I thought it needed. The top of the list were:
1: Spare tire because the guy I bought it from just had a random tire thrown in there and
2: Spare tire cover, because it didn't have one.

Well, after I bought the spare tire from someone on here, I got a good look at the one that was in there only to find that it was a stock spare tire, I just had to deflate it and put a strap on it to shrink it down to fit. I've still got a 'spare' spare.
The spare tire cover is nice to have, but now that I'm doing a complete interior makeover with my rear seat delete, I think it's going to end up being replaced with a custom piece of wood instead of the plastic and foam piece.

I bought my 928 a hooker one time.

Somewhere there's a poor pink corvette with its rear wheels permanently toed-out.

I'm with Cobalt -- not stupid.

When I first saw pics of your shark I thought you had chopped a perfectly good whel to make the grill....I can remember thinking that you must have tons of $$$$ burning a hole in your pocket.

An oil filter.

Because I keep winning them at 928 gatherings (raffles) and usually have a multi-year supply in my garage.

Nicole,

Have you really been to multiple 928 gatherings and repeatedly won oil filters? How weird, never anything else, just when oil filters come up they have your name all over it.

LOL!

I've won at least four or five oil filters over time. I don't remember when I last purchased one!

Since I don't think I can go to as many events as in the past, I think I'll better keep what I have and use it as needed.

Some day I'll be in the market for another oil filter...

so many mistakes...

new paint that peeled off in 6mos. no wonder it was so cheap - they didnt prep. bunch of crackheads.
taking it to someone that claimed they were just like a VW. later came to the conclusion he was a crackhead too.
a factory windshield. duh. what a waste. only lasted 9 mos before it was pitted/thx to living on an asteroid. chinese glass only installed by crackheads now...
a modified airbox from another lister. looked like a crackhead built it. didn't fit, wound up in the trash
a used wiring harness... then I rebuilt it. then I bought a new one after spending countless $$ wondering why the car would just quit out of the blue. fugging crackheads.

a power steering pump. of course, doc brown told me just to R&R the res and filter thingy. but noooo... mr smartass had to get the pump too.. but I did the res only cause I was overwelmed w/laziness. guess what? no more noise and it works like new... how did he know that? did someone slip some crack into my head??

latest folly - a custom shifter boot. 4 attempts that looked like a blind crackhead did it for $185. now I've got one ordered from paul champaign for 75.00 that will undoubtedly be fine.

I've done a great job of keeping crackheads employed and high though.

Hmm....

several key blanks. Thinking I could find a lock smith to duplicate one of my working keys...

The "official Porsche" test port delete manifold cap nuts ($18/each) when $3 worth of NPT cap nuts work just as well.
