My home built double row Volvo air-air intercooler got to be my biggest faliure. Cost of the two intercoolers was $200, the material for the end tanks was only $10 from the scrap yard but it cost $100 to have it tig welded. Spent a good 20hrs making everything fit, just to find out that the IC capacity was still too small. My SC was already spinning at max speed so I couldn't compensate for the pressure drop. Ohh well it's now colecting dust next to my work bench. It's a huge unit but I picked the wrong core.
