Talking What is the dumbest thing you ever bought for your 928?

Ok, there are alot of stupid aftermarket pieces of crap for the car as well as to wear, for the house, for the monopoly board, etc.

I have only had my car a year and already have a bunch of stupid little things.

What is the dumbest thing you have ever bought?

I guess the fuzzy dice and curb feelers I bought when I first got the car was a waste of money, but I really like my mud flaps.

A long time ago I bought a "imitation" Carbon fibor t-handle shifter for my first auto, I took one look at it out of the box and thought no way am I installing that into my 928. I then went and bought a Jager tip shifter and never looked at another t-handle shifter again...

At this point I'd say the door sill "928" illumination strips. It took me longer to install them than their actual lifespan.

Guilty of the exact same thing - and the same corrective action.

I was missing a small piece of carpeting and it was being discontinued. Barely noticeable but I felt the car deserved it. So I called around and got pricing of $500 for one small piece if they could get it, finally contacted sunset and I picked it up for $298+ shipping. OUCH!!!

But now the car is complete. Pic with piece missing in upper right hand corner. Still have yet to see one come up for sale anywhere cheaper.
