I figure if you don't make an appt, you get moved to the back of the list and I call the next guy in.

I think we have successfully hi-jacked another thread.

Sweet, been awhile since we've done that.

I would go broke doing that, way to much overhead, i have to be working on cars every minute to make it.

Sean--

In my dark past, I found it hard to justify charging extra for serious cleaning, but I could manage to offer a bit of discount to folks who kept their cars clean underneath. Worst cars went to a local steam-clean place. Kinda hard to beat up on a customer who comes to you for OPG to cure the leak that made the mess. Are there any places in your area that do undercar cleaning? Not the self-serve places but a real full-serve all the mess is on them place? Build a relationship with that place and some of the slime will be gone from your workplace.

I think it was you who mentioned doing a MM/OPG project where your customer had done the undercar cleaning in advance and it was so much easier. That was just a week or two before Ryan P brought a car here for that work. He did the cleaning in advance at his dad's place I think, and it was a huge improvement over when I did mine and got slimed. It also helped that he did most of the work on his car while a wheel bearing clinic was in the big bay. Anyway, slimed cars need not show up here for undercar work any more. I'm learning from you, man!
