Default Thank you Mike Simard!

Rennlist rocks. You may have read of my entertainment in finding a missing spacer in my suspension. Well Mike generously offered the old spacers from his track monster, so I took a short drive up to his shop today at lunch. What a nice guy and holy **** you should see that car he's working on. What was a derelict '79 is becoming a beast. Having your own machine shop doesn't hurt when you're custom-fabricating everything from the suspension on up...which is why he didn't need the parts any more. Wow you should see the custom control arm setup he's fab'd. Just beautiful work and I can't wait to see it run. He's also got a matching white S4 sitting in there too, ready to go, lucky guy.

Thanks Mike, I get to drive again this weekend!

Mike Simard is one of the really consistently great resources on Rennlist. I view Mike as a permanent part of the good guy gang.

I grouped him in with all the good guys from texas, since he is under the mason dixon line. Even though its Hotlanta.

Very helpful, I 2nd all comments above.

I ordered a sump spacer from him a couple weeks ago and it was just a pleasure to deal with him. Got the spacer in record time!
Thanks Mike!

Just to wrap things up, yesterday morning I got into the garage and installed the missing spacer and everything torqued up exactly like it should, solid as a rock. How in the heck this was missed before is beyond me. I installed the new pads, hooked up the Motive and bled the system. Finally installed the new rear wiring harness for the backup lights (was more of a pain than it should have been), put the wheels back on and went for a drive.

Wow that felt good.
