Well, it is an 88.

I just spoke to the seller. He's owned it for 12 years and had the stroker built while he was living in Oregon. It has the stage 3 DEVEK header and exhaust system, plus all the performance goodies

It sounds like he has gone through the car and has it up to speed. He's selling due to buying another toy.

Louie Ott knows this car well.....I think he helped him build it....seems like a very fair price too

Did Curtis ever get his 'WSM Interface' working properly?

This car belongs to Dennis Wilson (the other Dennis Wilson is from Oklahoma). He was/is part of the PacNW 928 group (living in Oregon) for a while before moving to Texas. This car has been his work in progress for a number of years, with each year Dennis doing various upgrades (usually Devek influenced) and later, Louie Ott did work on it to figure out the fueling and timing in the days before John Speake made it so easy to add bigger injectors and change out the maps in the brains. From his description, he didn't stop the upgrades when he got to Texas.

I personally think this is probably the best deal out there for a big motor 928. I don't know how much money Dennis has into his car..but I bet the 21k he is asking is a mere percentage of what was put in.

Send Dennis an email. He is an upfront straightforward guy and will give you all the details on his car. Nothing to hide here..just a smoking deal in my opinion...

Later,
Tom

OK, so this is not Curtis/TMax. Charley - I don't recall anything about the WSM.

And, as Tom says, this looks like quite a deal. If I didn't have decent car, I'd be after this one for sure.
