thats really nice!

i would buy it, and swap the motors with my race car (and brakes)

and then have a S4 that would last a million miles! (with the miracle Holbert engine!)

Somewhere in the works. Tim will have to give the status of the Rennlist Holbert motor replacement project.

However, if it wasnt I could buy this car. I would like an automatic 928, instead of my BMW328i. then, swap motors with the holbert car, and for 20k i have a stroker engine and an entire 928 for the street! PLus, i get to sell the BMW to make up some of the costs.

also, this is an entire race motor, with 968 valves, porting work, accusump, along with the GTS brakes., larger injectors, throttle body, small steering wheel, piggie back computer, and some nice body work.

That is sweet. I wonder what a little blower on top would do?

Careful Mark, you're almost talking yourself into it. It's January, you could be ready to roll by 1st race. And you'd have a back up motor coming from the North for a spare.

Mark,
Sounds like buying the stroker in TX is a good way forward in many ways.

Yes, it doesnt look like the Rennlist 928 motor will make it in time to make the first race, so this would be a way to get rolling quickly. However, i certainly dont need an expensive modex crank'ed stroker short block gathering dust in the garage. Its either / or.

Does anyone know about this stroker engine? This is such a tight community, heck we know when someone changes a spark plug here!

I wonder if this is a guy that used to use the Rennlist handle TMax. He did a stroker with DEVEK 4 or 5 years ago and was from TX.

Anyway, he provided his email, so interested parties should be able to find out more from him.
