Wooooo Hoooooo!!!

Mark your calendars for Feb. 8th-10th for another fun filled weekend of Porsche racing, 928 partying, & lots of Florida sunshine!!!

We hope to have another great turnout of 928s. Last years group of 28 sharks got us alot of attention, even being specifically mentioned twice in two different issues of PCA's Panorama national magazine!

While we won't be as fortunate to have the three cross country 928ers racing this year as we did in '07, we'll still have tons of fun! Hopefully by '09 Abby will have Constantine's former Coke racer full ready & he'll have his license to go! I know that is his goal. We'll have our 928 specific car corral again and lots going on, both on & away from the track.

I should be there. I will also try to get our newest shark owner, the proud new owner of my 86.5 project car, to join the fun also.

My supercharger is arriving Monday, so anyone want's to rush over and help me install it please feel free . I hope and pray it will all go well so I will be there if I can!

We just make our own area. There's plenty of room, but we've gathered near the crossover bridge that last few years.

I've already gotten us approval from the PCA & track officials to have our same location as in past years to park together as our Shark Shiver. Its just over the bridge on the left for the cars, any RVs can park on the right. Kinda fun to politely tell the 911s when they'd try to pull into our area that they had to park somewhere else! Only one got pissy about it & that made it even more fun!. The Boxster owner was very nice about it when he came back to his car & gladly moved it back behind our group.

John V, you have no idea how much we wish you were able to come down again! We were spoiled last year with THREE 928 racers, and NONE this year. Least none we know of. Hopefully by next year Abby will have his PCA license & should have the Coke 928 racer rarin to go! You, David L., & John A. all are greatly admired and appreciated by us Florida Sharkers for making such a monumental effort to get all the way here & give us some 928s to root for!

Oh, and John...... A few months ago, I just happened to be at a PCA event & I was talking to someone. Turned out he was the PCA official who was in charge of making the decision regarding when the 911 hit you & caused the accident. We talked about how your video showed that it was the other guy's fault. I made a point of saying how without the video, surely the 911 would have been given a pass & it must of been the 928ers fault.
