I'll say the same to you to Angel, come to the event, even if without your shark, even if just for one day. You already know that you will not regret it!

Ross, you're still fiddling with the transmission? Whats left? I thought you were only lacking the end of the cable. Fill us in, maybe revive one of your old threads to keep us posted. Maybe someone here can offer some help.

Angel, whats keeping yours off the road?

As for me. I will not be bringing the widebody to Sebring this year as I had hoped. I haven't titled it yet. I just can't justify paying to title, register and insure it when i won't be driving it too much at this time. I am still modding the body, re shaping and covering the door panels and doing many other small repairs.

So it looks like I will be bringing the 84. It runs great it just doesn't look that great anymore since I tried airbrushing those rock chips. Constantine, if your reading this, please go to Sebring and take your 928. No one will notice that small paint blemish that you are worried about. You can park next to me if you would like. I assure you that my car will make yours look perfect.

Glad to hear that you are gonna make it Shawn, is Tarek coming with you too? Would be nice to see him again. And Constantine had better make it to Sebring, no excuses acceptable if he doesnt. Well some excuses might be, but certainly not cause of a few blemishes in his paint!

Mel,
So what is the Schedule of events for us? Is there a certain time each day that we all meet to get to know each other? If I do come, it will propably be Sat.

Saturday would be the best day to come if you make just one. That will have the most stuff going on. People usually start arriving at the track after 9am or so. The VIP driving on the track is usually around noon. We'll have the 928 tech session & hopefully a barbeque in the afternoon. Then that night all head to George V's restaurant & tiki bar.

Default How many are doing the last minute goodies?

I'm still trying hard to get 3 cars ready!
Ross is out looking for the proper flex plate - I'll still try to get his tranny in in one day - tomorrow......
The old beater 928 is going - I don't know that I would want to be in front of me - and would appreciate anyone behind picking up gears when I miss my shift. A clutch would be nice - I'm waiting on parts too. Just one more last minute project.
The 911 engine is still on the stand - I did get the cam gears timed today and am closing it up as I type.... I better get it in!
Clutches and engines are over rated anyway..................

Unfortunately the wife's 1989 928S4 is up in the air waiting for a motor mount, oil pan gasket, tie rod, and oil sender unit R&R so it won't be making it to Sebring.

But I'll be there with a fellow Porsche enthusiast in an Audi TT. At least Audi is a kissing cousin to Porsche. Picked up a FX35 for the wife to bomb around in for the time being and am quite impressed with it. Cool exhaust sound.

I'm looking forward to meeting up with the 928 group, too bad no one's racing one this year.

Cheers to all,
Constantine

Yeah right......
Anyone seen him? "I'll be there at 7am".
Lets chip in and buy him a alarm clock for his b'day
I think the only way he is going to get to Sebring is if he catches the bus I just threw him under
Yee Haa -

Yeah, what happened? I just got a call from the gentleman who I arranged for Whitefox to get the flexplate from. The flexplate was still sitting in the same spot where he left it for Whitefox. Can you get ahold of him? I hope he didn't get into an accident or something.

Constantine, I'm happy to hear that you will be able to make it. Will your wonderfull wife be attending as well?

See you there.

I thought of you and your $100 offer last night as we were hammering out the details of this flex plate transaction. I'm glad I didn't take you up on that bet. I think I'll just side by and watch to see how this one turns out.
