Default Painted Stock Wheels?

I was just checking out Craigslist and it led me to this car....

http://www.corneliusauto.com/inventory/

No affiliation and all that. I am posting to enquire about painted stock wheels and whether anyone has pictures of them on their Sharks?

I posted a few times about wheels and have decided to hold off the purchase, instead knocking some issues off the list

Seeing this Shark made me think about getting mine painted or anodized black.

Cheers

Mark

I have painted my phone dials and it came out very good. I used wheel paint from autozone (there are 3 colors, I used silver) with the clear primer and clearcoat. For the wheels I took old paint off to factory primer, sprayed with clear primer, sprayed silver paint and when dried applied the clear. Main part is the prep before painting.

Thanks Joe, I have the 'flat' design type, like on the red shark on the link. I think it would allow me to 'freshen up' the cosmetics of my Shark without costing the earth.

Here's a pic of some S4 flats done in charcoal black. Those are in my buddy's garage or I have some 993 style 17s in the same color. Both for sale. EDIT: $1000 and $450

I had mine done by a local body shop about 2 years ago. 75$ each. They came out pretty good. Not perfect but a lot better than before.

I had some D90s done by a body shop and brake dust ate into the paint. 20k miles later they were pitting from the dust.
I have powdercoated wheels that are still impervious to the dust, and a new set that's annodized and doing well.
