You need to get Jim Morehouse's CDs. They have all the manuals and wiring diagrams on them. Very inexpensive and invaluable. Jim can be emailed at jim928ATptd.net - change the AT to @

The central panel is a nightmare. Have you looked at the 50's BRAINIAC style patch board on the backside? Don't get too snippy back there.

The diagrams are not difficult to find - just expensive. For the cheapest route - contact jim morehouse here on renlist.

I have located the diagrams I needed and printed them all out now what I want to do is wire in everything different because I don't have the guage cluster so for the dash I'm using toggle switchs for the high beams, low beams, four way flashers, and also I have to wire in my radiator fan has anyone done this before for? The diagrams are a bit tricky to understand and I'm obviously not the greatest electrician. I am stil using the turn signal that's on the steering column so that won't need to be re wired I have also made a custom dash for the inside as well but basically just looking to rewire the lights. I wish I had access to a computer so I could upload the pictures but if somes willing I can email them through my phone and upload them as a post to this thread. That would be awesome. Thanks guys

Oh, I just cut and pasted the link....

Uh, wow. This isn't for the faint of heart.

If its primarily going to be a track car, why the hood scoop? Looks like the stock engine.

I have a chevy ls1 that I am putting in it from a c5 corvette just ordered the swap kit from renegadehybrids.com should make this car extremly fast as if it wasnt fast enough. Also the hood scoop is functional i cut a whole in the hood and am currently finishing the fiberglass work around it before i get the car repainted jet black. I just installed a set of corbeau racing seats and matching 5 point harness along with a stainless steel 6pt roll cage. The project is coming along nicely. I want to try and find a set of rims and tires for the rear around 10.5 inch wide but not sure what i can use just yet any idea sanyone?

Well - I hope its obvious but the 928 isn't the best car to learn electrics on. Why not just forget about the toggle switch idea and mount the existing switches into your new dash. - nothing fancy but keep them as is - it will eliminate a lot of complexity for you. The switches implement a lot of features and a simple toggle switch can't replace them without lots and lots of other changes...
