Default window - sunroof switch

Before I tear into it, has anyone tried to exchange a window switch for the sunroof switch?

If not, I guess I'll let you know how it comes out.

Rod...........haven't done this op but dont see why it wouldn't work.

Shouldn't be too difficult to transfer the cables once the switches are swapped.

Thanks guys, They looked the same, except for the logos, but all is not always what it appears.

I'll tear into it.

I recall different wiring color arrangements in the harness to the connector - I diagramed both when swapping out - could have sworn they were different?

Well, something that goes without a hitch, so far.....

The window switch is a direct wire-in for the sunroof switch. Just splice the wires color to color and it works like a charm. I have a lot of extra window switches, - it's a long story -, so this is a real find for me.

Now for some nice weather.
