I am in the process of deciding on a wheel set for my car and would like to find out a simple and inexpensive way of copying a picture of a wheel and tire to a picture of my car.
Any help would be appreciated...

Hey Jerry,
Thanks for the tip but,
I am actually considering a few of their wheels and I am not sure of where to go to see pics of their wheels on my car. I have the examples of the wheels on other cars (all except one that I am really considering ) Is there something I am missing on their site?

Seems quite 'on topic' to me Dave.
928 Specialists has a wheel section that shows each wheel type on a 928:

Limited selection, but here a place you can start.

Randy, I think the prices at 928sp are very reasonable for the wheels that have caught my eye but it just seems like wheels can look totally different on different colored cars, which is why I was hoping there was some way to sorta crop and paste a sample pic of a wheel onto a pic of my car, or course without going out and buying an expensive picture editing program.
Max, Your right The Tire Rack has exactly what I am looking for as far as seeing the different wheels on the car but unfortuantly they have a limited selection.
Jerry, Those were definatly a consideration.
Thanks to all of you for the help.
I am actually interested in the Moda R6's from 928 specialist ( they seem to be the most reasonably priced 18's out there ) but they don't show them mounted on a car, Yet. So, if anyone has a pic of them mounted on someone's car, that would be good as well. Especially if the car happen to be Metormetallic Blue. LOL
Thanks again,

Dave,
Here is a decent straight on pic of the R6, mounted on a VW GTI. With an inexpensive program like JASC Paint shop Pro you can cut/crop/resize/paste them onto a profile photo of your car. You can download an Evaluation copy of PSP that's good for 30 days with full functionality. Email me off-list if you need more info.

KBlair,
Thanks for the Pic and I am in the process of downloading PSP. I actually just figured out I how to do this on my "Picture It" program, but it keeps locking up on me, a problem that I have had with this program in the past.
If this PSP program isn't too hard to figure out then that should be exactly what I am looking for thanks for the link.

Dave,
It's super easy, I just did it on my car. Took about 2 minutes to copy, resize and paste. Those R6's don't look to shabby, but I think I'm still going with the Ronal SX 7-spoke design in silver, but 17s instead of 18s.

Hey Dave
I love the the looks of my RIVAs but if i had to do it all over again i would have bit the bullet a bit harder and gone with a set of better "performing" wheels... my choice was 17" FIKSE wheels. http://www.fikse.com/classic.html
Specialists has them on there site as well. Actually Dave Roberts has a set on his black GT. They look sweet. Nice finish and they are LIGHT!
I noticed a difference RIGHT away in the acceleration of my car going from 16" to 18"...both from added weight and the gearing of the larger diameter wheel.
BTW....KOENIG7 Lives! You need to get back out this side of town for a spin, before you leave. You going to be around Sat 14th?

KBlair, Program works well, just what I was looking for, Thanks.
Hey Tony, Its funny you say that about the Fikse's on Dave Roberts GT, Because I applied those to a pic of my car and love'em....But....
Thats an awful big bullet to bite, Heck thats 3/4 of what I paid for the car. LOL
I actually thought about getting the 17" Riva's, just for the Looks/cost factor...But since you would rather have the Fikse's, I will be glad to sacrifice and take those 18's off your hands before I leave....LOL
And yea, I'll definitely be around on the 14th, hell I'd postpone just for that. By the way I was planning on getting my windows tinted tomorrow or the next day and was wondering if yours were already done when you got it or did you have it done here. If you had it done here, Where? And where they able to do the back window in one piece?
Call me sometime this week or I'll call you and set up a time thats good for all.
Thanks,

Hey Randy,
I just got off the phone with Tony (which was right in the middle of carpet cleaning) but from what he said it was a negative effect. Between the weight and size difference he could feel the slower acceleration.
