If you are looking on a budget, have you considered used wheels? There is a set of 17" 911 cup wheels, with almost new tires, in the classifieds. He is asking $1200 for the set.

I think you otherwise have to resign yourself to spending $2000+.

I finally found an interactive app which shows a true 928. Wheel prices are PRICY as all Hell. 1500 just for 2 !!!!! without tires.

Good Luck

Yo Vegas - stop the presses. Ive been doing a little research for you and I found a set of 17" aftermarket Italian cup wheels that will fit a 928.

With Center caps, Chrome Plated & 3 good tires. One tire trashed. 1200.00 for the set. I'm waiting on some pictures so as soon as I get them, you will get them.

Source - 20th Street Auto Parts in Phoenix. I spoke with Dale and told him that I was doing some research for you (Told him you were in Michigan - My bad).

Give them a call at 6022582020 or 18009994911 - Tell him Andrew reffered you.

Damn I love Rennlist!

Brent, I really like the 17" Riva's at 928 Specialist, and I sorta based my pricing around those. But other than the Riva's and The 18" Moda they have, everything else is like you say $2000+
I was actually looking for something used but wanted to see if I could get something a little different than stock.

Dang Drew, Thanks for research. I would definately be interested in seeing them. I really like the idea of them being chrome. I'll wait til you get the pics before I call them.

How couldn't you love Rennlist?

Thanks again to everybody,

The wheels will fit a 944 or 911 but apparently not a 928. Sorry Man - I'm in your corner.

LOL, No problem Drew, Thanks for trying.
That sorta sums up my luck though. The last time I got lucky was when I married a woman who incouraged me to by the car I had always wanted and doesn't even bat an eye when I come up with ideas like "Well, ya know the tires on the car a getting worn, So it only makes sense, If WE are going to buy tire's we should go ahead and get wheels too........." LOL

FWIW,
I haven't been to any of the Big Three since I bought Pattycakes out in San Diego two years ago but...
I had to make two runs up to 928 International in L.A.. The amount of STUFF they had was mind boggling. They had a ton of used glass and a <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" /> mountain of used wheels.
Also carry new wheel tire combo's .
Just for grins, buzz the Big Three , who know's?

Dave,

I have a set of 17" Antera 121 in CHROME and centercaps with decent rubber. Check out the style at 928 Specilaists and let me know if you're interested. I don't have a firm price, but I'd say around $1200.

I gotta dig 'em out of storage to give you more details/pics.

Email me if you're interested: ebay_928@pacbell.net

This pic I "borrowed" this in an 18", but it give you an idea what they look like.

Cheers

John S., Good Point on the Big Three, I hadn't thought of check 928Itl. for used wheels. But 928sp has at least 2 new sets that sparked interest.

Rob, thanks for the offer, but those don't really do it for me. It seems like the ones that have caught my eye have more of a squared off appearance.

John K., I think I finally have it down on my Microsoft Picture it program. I like all 3 of these but can only afford 2. LOL

This is not my car, but looks basically the same and is a good side shot. I wanted to take a pic of my car, but we are in the middle of Monsoon Season (for Vegas that about 3 inch's a day).

Thanks All,
