Drat! The rest of the month is booked for Christmas stuff.
We could still do this, but routes are the issue and people who know them.

I have led 3 runs in Napa and would enjoy doing it again but I am in the middle of a timing belt replacement and am also going to pull the motor to replace a leaking head gasket. Hopefully I will be done for the next one.

Seems like a morning run is needed.
How early fo folks want to meet ?
Car talk before or after, or both ?
Loop or point to point route ?
From past drives, there are a few good routes, but the answers to the above questions make or break several of the possible routes. As example, anything near Mines Rd. requires an early start...
Please post opinions....ASAP.

If you guys like early and Mines Roads, we can make a great loop out of:
Meet in Livermore:
Telsa / Corral Hollow
I580-I5
Del Puerto Canyon
Mines
Back to Livermore
This is a great morning drive. Takes about 2 1/2 hours with appropriate stops along the way.
IMHO, if we use Mines, we need to be very calm and cool through most all of Mines Road. Since the article in Sunset magamize, Mines Road has become a hot spot for "Dykes on Bikes", as well as every "wham" cyclist in the Bay Area. Too bad...

There is a fairly new golf community about eight miles up a windy road from I5 and Del Puerto Canyon called Diablo Grande that might be a good rest stop candidate. I'll check on it.

Cool idea.
When I have done this before, it typically been a pull off after the Del Puerto turn. No ammenities...
Can you also see if there is a drive through Starbucks on the other side of I5 ??? Addicts may need a fix. :^)

Morning drive sounds good, have a late afternoon commitment. How about ending at a winery in Livermore for lunch?
