Default whats missing?

I am giving this 928 engine one last chance, i have new gaskets and a new idle stabilizer. I am going to replace the majority of the vacuum lines. Their are some missing tubes / jerry rigged things I want to get repaired. The first image is on the drivers side in front of the engine. Its a vacuum line that was cut by previous owner and had a screw in the end. Does any one know where It goes? The second is a tube by the cylinder head on the passengers side. I have no clue what it is supposed to be doing.

First goes to the flappy valve. Second attaches to the underside of the air duct.

Do some re-sizing of those pics. I've got a 1600x1200 screen and can't get enough of any picture on the screen to see what's going on.

Start here.

and do some quick reading, some great tips there.

As for what you are asking about, check here.

That is the biggest picture I've ever seen posted on the intrawebs.

First (small) picture: if your vacuum lines to the flappy's solenoid are routed correctly, the line you are holding goes to the flappy' vacuum actuator. That bit of kit is buried in the middle of the intake. Intake has to come off to get it re-connected.

The tube is a hard metal tube that goes to the exhaust manifold and is used to measure exhaust gases if I am guessing right . There is one on each side. The big hose goes to the air cleaner
