Good running European 928 with the higher horsepower. Manual 5 speed, original interior, original paint, rebuilt top end on the factory 4.5L V8 engine, great Porsche for the money! Best offer over $3,000

If its a 78 it doesn't have any more HP than a US version.

Seems a little rough seats are the checkerd type. Just came across it not sure if it would be a good project car or a pain.

You are probably right but they are both equal on paper. The point I am making is that the engine is not a higher comp. ratio, hotter cam'ed, free'r breathing version. But yes, not having a cat or air pump is bound to be worth a few ponies.

Mark, those engines have a low C.R. I think it is around 8.5 . Carl seems to have worked out the fueling issues on the CIS cars. This one could be a good candidate for a blower. Just look at the #'s that Hacker..eh hem... I mean ENZO is putting up. If the car is really clean it could be worth it. Plus its got Pascha.

Sorry, he would have posted it here if he wanted everyone to see it. Theres really nothing to see. Just a couple fuzzy pictures of an OB from a distance and a grainy picture of a dirty interior. If Mark buys it I'm sure he will post it and show everyone.

I did look at it and have the owner trailing it over tonight. I said I would give him $100.00 to allow me to check it out for a day. Seems its starts well, ecno bake paint job, a little body work on the rear 1/4. I will get this if it checks out so as too leave my almost perfect 86 alone I was about to SC it. This with an 8.5 CR would be a good one to SC and add a wide body kit too. Any feed back from the group !
