Default SCCA ITE Grand Finale races. (2) races and an unprecidented (6) 928s?

October 27th and 28th, we have the Grand finale SCCA ITE races.
Mark Anderson and Joe Fan have indicated that they want to go. 2 more from the NorthWest will be there as well as Scot and I.

during the weekend , Mark and Joe will also be able to run with the transam cars and NASCAR types in Super production class in another group.

Sunday, we are running an enduro. Chuck a friend and me will be driving his 83 in a 4 hour race with 2 pitstops in the RDC race

what happened to the POC race at infineon?? Are they skipping it to run laguna...or are they racing in both??

6 race sharks at one track....that has to be a record!

Do you have a link to the schedule for the weekend?

Not quiet a record but at least it ties an east coast event.

Here's the link to the event schedule. http://www.sfrscca.org/images/2007/C...t26wenduro.pdf

Ken Osage will also be running on Sunday in the Enduro. Our team may not have the fastest car, but we have the ringers. Dick Pierson drives in the CER (Classic Endurance Series) and the Le Mans Classic in Europe running a 1976 850hp Dodge Charger. Then of course there's Mark Kibort - we've all seen what he can do with a 928... Ken Osage may have a few surprises up his sleeve though...

More info to follow...

Here is the schedule for Laguna at the end of Oct.

http://www.sfrscca.org/images/2007/C...t26wenduro.pdf

Here is a lap around laguna

Just found an AMAZING way to video my track time. this is the eRACING motorsports "Hero" video camera. its the size of a buisness card and holds 50mins of DVD quality video and then plugs directly into the computer for watching or the TV directly with a supplied cable. More soon!

All for around $150

The video here has been reduced in quality for Youtube, but this is the race start and restart.

Speaking of for sale - Anyone interested in some 928 Laguna Seca Polo shirts.. the proceeds benefit the United Way... I'll post a link on how to order them - basically a line drawing of a 928 on the left chest with Mazda Raceways @ Laguna Seca under the car with NW Racersgroup and the date inside the 928.

The United Way also promised to feature a story in their newsletter about the 928's racing and our fund racing efforts..

Then speaking of for free - The endurance pit crew gets them for free.. Volunteers?

Malcom, I'll post a thread with a link to the store during the next two days. They will be $20.00 ($2.00 for each shirt goes towards the United Way) and they're not T-shirts, but very nice polo shirts.

You know you can't get to California or visit any of the PacNW guys without driving by my place. In fact - the Leavenworth trip will take you within 5 miles of my place... 3.5 Miles of winding road from 0' to 960 elevation..

We have Mark Kibort to blame.. but it didn't take alot to convince the PacNW guys.. let's see.. October in Seattle means 30 days of rain... October in Monterey...
