It's certainly an event not to miss - especially thanks to Mark Kibort for reserving the pit area - It's looking like a car show in our pit area - some photos will be posted on the website tonight.

Finished all the last minute stuff, couple of electrical items left over from the engine swap - now have oil pressure sensor and the altenator - maybe even have some time in the morning for a little waxing and have coffee waiting for Mark and Scott. If you're in the area drop by for some burgers and drinks after the race!

Update - Practice today - Holy Cow from the NW guy..... Nobody told me that when I came over the CorkScrew that I wouldn't be able to see ground underneath me! What an awesome track....

Ok - slow times for Ken Osage and me - Qualifying - Kibort, Fan and Scott had great times. Mark Anderson lost his transmission - then Joe's car died as he pulled off the track - some kind of electrical problem - no spark... still working to get him back on the track. I lost my power steering belt during the qualifying - so only got 3 laps in... off to NAPA to find a belt... ready for tomorrow.

1st race in the morning, then a 40 minute endurance practice session, then final sprint race in the afternoon.... Pressure is on Kibort for the Championship..

Off to the races - good weather. If anyone coming out to the track has a spare starter.. bring it and I'll buy it...

Other than that - hoefully everything's tight on the car....

I keep a lot of spares, but I don't think I have a starter. I'll check. You need a push crew?

Updates? How did the 928 group do. Did Anderson's car get the transmission fixed. Did Kibort win the points championship?

Mark Kibort assisted us with all of our needs - Borrowed Mark's starter, and gear shift ****.

15th Overall in the Endurance race out of 56 cars, 6th in our class.

Mark Kibort won the championship! Well deserved and earned!

Ken Osage's car was totaled during the Endurance practice session, hitting the wall in turn 5, no injuries.

Saw alot of nice 928's on and off the track - now back to Seattle and plan on the winter projects - after a couple of weeks of rest!

Thanks again to everyone for their support and help!

What? The blue car was totaled?

I'm glad nobody was injured. But what a beautiful car to lose!!!

Was this the car recently purchased from Canada, which had been for sale for some time? It looked to be a very nice example.
