Malcolm is correct on #2 (and #1 for that matter). The tranny lines run under the torque tube then turn up before they bolt into the tranny, which would prevent the ATF from leaking out of the cooler lines. Plus, I think you may need to remove the heatshields to get to where the lines bolt into the tranny. If that is the case, then I definitely wouldn't bother.

O-ring for union in plastic pipe from revervoir to pan: 477 321 487 ($12.95 from 928 Intl)
Gasket for reservoir cap: 477 321 283 A (couple of bucks - not listed at 928 Intl but available, maybe special order)

126 271 11 80 is the Mercedes part number for the updated pan gasket. I just replaced mine. I picked it up from the local MB dealer for around ten bucks.
