Hi Mike,
I don't think it looks 'better' but it sure is different. But I admire you going through with what you wanted. I, for one, know what kind of perseverence & craftsmanship it takes to design, research & follow through on a project like this & I say you did a hell of a job. This was one HUGE undertaking & I applaud your efforts.
Sometimes it amazes me on this list when someone asks for opinions & gets insults. An opinion is maybe that one doesn't partically like your mods, not that it 'looks like crap'. You can take some comfort in knowing that usually the ones with the smartass insults can't tell a screwdriver from a sledgehammer & don't have any skills or ***** to do their own mods. It always seems to be the same assclowns that criticize peoples work. I stated my opinion that it wasn't my cup of tea but I'd never say some of the things that a few 'listers said.
Great job Mike!

One of the design features of the 928 that date it is the long front overhang. Current style seems to be to put the wheels nearer to the corners. It seems to me that your redesign of the overhang accentuates it and adds too much visual weight to the nose. I agree with everyone that the work is truly impressive and I congratulate you on a beautiful job.

Straighten the angle of the rear pillar and you've 'updated' the lines that make a shark a shark.
Kind of cool looking, though.

Wow!! I saw the pic of the bumper cover the other day in OT and wondered what it would look like on the car! Missed this thread! lol It's spectacular!! And one of the first things I think of is now there is room for some front mounted intercoolers for a twin-turbo setup!!

Looks great. I already hit the spoiler going in steep ramps, your front end is out there even more, watch out. Love the look, very beefy yet still Porsche. Quality of work is impressive. I love it.

. Seriously, the Cayenne is the most laughed at Porsche design in history, what would posess you to take design cues from an ugly truck and put it onto a classic 928? Tasteless, sorry, i wont sugar coat it, and i know some people will be mad at me for being so direct, but the entire package as a whole is terribly conceived.
?
I am assuming you can show us documentation on this. I love clueless people talking out their A$$. Drive one you might actually like it. It is an awesome cross between sports car and sport truck, I have decided to keep my 04 tt as I do the rest of my Porsche's. It will get a sport body kit and Turbo S mods next year yielding nearly 550 hp and spank most cars including all stock 928's. i love the 928 and the Cayenne Turbo they both serve their purpose well and would not trade my CT for any other truck out there. Regards to whether it belongs on the front of a 928. I can assure you based on Porsche's recent trends if the 928 were made today it would have followed the design cues of their other models.
