We have a set of factory 993 wheels 9x17 and 7x17. They have been refinished and will fit perfectly. $750 for the set.
Mark,

Are those 9x17's of the ET70 offset variety, and if so, would you be willing to sell them separately?

These would be great on the front along with a pair of 9x17 ET55 rears from a GTS on the back.

I'd love to have this setup on my GT. Unfortunately, I'm not in position to do this right now, but someone else may be interested. Just a thought...

Chris
I also like the "crab claw" 19" factory porsche wheels....the offsets on those is pretty good for 928's too...assuming the tires are less than say 295 in the rear, it should fit no problem! I have 18x10x58mm offset Carrera III's (rear) on mine that were a direct take off from a 2006 997 (case model) with 265/40 rear tires.....fits no problem...have about 10mm of room on the outside edge of the tire to the fender lip too... The fronts are 18x8x57 with 235/40 18 tires....100% perfect...no rubbing at all even at full steering lock going up and down curbs....the wider tires in general really help the handling....

I also like this idea.....9" all around with 265 tires!! Prolly would take a touch of fender rolling in front to fit...rears should be no problem

I got a set of Moda (18") and a set of Forgeline (rears are 17x11) that I will be selling soon. Both sets has good rubber. I can't figure out yet which one I want to keep :-(.

Look up other posts by user, just click on his name. Ed, that's a screaming deal those are beautiful wheels but I ended up buying a set of S4 wheels from Mark and plan on a re-finish project. Good luck and hope they sell.

The 18's look right at home on a 928. My 17's look a little puny when parked next to a nice set of 18's. They were HUGE when I bought them. Look at tire costs too, if that's going to be a consideration. 18' are becoming more common, while 19 &20 are still priced exotic.

I'm considering selling the 19's off my 993 for around $1000. I've decided to go back down to 18's for competition.

I would sell my cup 2s. Factory wheels that are 8x17 et70 (with 5mm spacer) and 9x17 et55 (with 17mm GT bolt on spacers) the fit is perfect with the spacers. $1200. The tires are worn but still legal tread and drive nice.

Wheels are powdercoated, one small chip but no other damage and no curbing. Too easy to just wipe clean, and don't show brake dust with the color.

Will those ET70 clear body inside wheel well at full steering lock with 265's or does steering rack movement need to be limited?

I also have original Porsche 8x17 ET70 and 9x17 ET55 Cup II pairs available with 5mm spacers for front end. 800 euros = $1090 US.
