Does anyone know this 928? Might be a good deal for someone as a driver or track duty?

Hi there,
looks good. Still can't get over the fact, that you guys can pick these cars up so cheap. GT's go for $30 k+ around here....

Best regards from Down Under

Yes, I put a deposit on it today

It has a few issues, but will do nicely for a street 928 for me. I will be posting a for sale for my 89 S4 5 speed with LSD shortly...

It is home now, on the way, I stopped to have David Lloyd check it out. He really seemed to enjoy it and helped identify a couple of issues (vibration - motor mounts, A/C - likely vacuum valve).

So I am a newbie member of the 928 sub-community owning GTs now

Whoa... Hold the phone. I don't have your GT application on file along with the $100 deposit. Just send me your name written on the back of a $100 bill and we'll call it good. You have my address.

Gee, I wonder what the problem with the RDK is?

Congrats, you got the best year, best model.

A little bias there, eh?

Yes, I will be bypassing the RDK, it is on the to do list. First the clutch replacement, probably dual disk upgrade (looking for S4 auto timing ring) and the ball shifter
