Stan, perhaps something to consider.....

isnt it possibly worth giving up the S4 for $5K when your getting what appears to be a seriously undervalued GT in return?

Scratch my back, i'll scratch yours. Something to consider. $15K for that supercharged GT is a real bargian. Mileage is high but the car is in exceptional condition. From what ive seen, it could pass for a 60K mile car. What do you really think your S4 is worth? I thought i remember you trying to sell it for $7,000 - $8,000? But I could be wrong, i dont remember.

Point being, look at the entire deal as a whole, not just that you arent getting top dollar for a track S4.

Not sure, but can't blame the guy for being picky at what HE wants. Afterall, he is the taking a huge loss (I am sure) for trying to pass the car to another rennlister.

Ryan,

I thought of your perspective, but it also means the deal being offered to someone with a lower valued car is better.

I appreciate your thoughts, but I think I am beyond this now. There are plenty of cars out there, no need for people to be at odds over this one

Sounds like a deal to me. Seller has a cash buyer ready to close the deal, and is geting his asking price.

Important to note, Sab was willing to do that, but I would rather do what I believe is the right thing and let him pursue the other deal that is better for him.

umm don't mean to break anyones heart on that car but it was on autotrader and on ebay forever and never got sold. The car has issues that need resolving. Can't remember what the owner had said when I talked to them 5-6 months ago but I know that there was some running issues with that car. Call to confirm but I'm pretty sure thats the car. Good Luck with it.

Sounds like a good candidate for me, but perhaps at a better price than the asking price. Thanks for the information. If you think of anything else, please email me.

Now that's (not) a surprise. I know the owner and will try to look at it tomorrow.

It would just be really great for me if I'd end up with a car I can use for track / DE days. Stan is being very patient and understanding about it. He tried to come up with several other cars as well.

Does anyone know Drewsters track car?

How much work is it to pull out everything out and lighten a 928? Aside from any upgrades...

Is there anything of value that gets pulled out of the car? Is a beat up interior worth anything?
