Thanks, I got the parts in from 928Intl. this morning for the TB/WP so I'm getting my ducks lined up for the job. Now if I can just find the time.

They do not burp. But they do indeed like to spew oil everywhere unless you close the nozzles.

I used black silicone.
I find this totally insane and unnecessary.

Thanks Bill. I want to at least get you out to look things over before I button it up. I have a killer August going, including a week in Minnesota so I'm not sure how I will schedule this.

Water certainly comes out of the hole for the shoulder bolt. Looks like this one is oil.

As (bad) luck would have it, my bleeder is not leaking. The bolt that goes into the oily hole in the picture is either the wrong one (too narrow) or stripped. It's all the way in but still able to turn with zero resistance. Time to find the right bolt or use some sealant/tape.

It just looks like the bleeder is leaking because oil from this hole drips right on top of the bleeder valve.

I love dreams....they always turn out so good.

Reality is that you need to remove the tensioner, fix the threads in the block and try again on sealing up the tensioner. Don't forget the circlip on the inside of the boot, that Porsche doesn't show in the parts diagram.

I agree, but it'll have to wait until next week.

The tensioner is not leaking, and I'm not 100% sure the leak is from that bolt (although it is stripped). I'm still leaking oil slowly and I need to confirm where it's coming from.
