He posted a thread asking for explanation, without reading 1st to know the rules. No big deal, it happens. Hacker gave him a reply explaining why & what the rule of the site is. Nothing mean spirited about Hacker's reply at all, just the facts ma'am! It could of ended there. How many times has that happened & the postee apologized, said "oh, I didn't know",.... "excuse me for breaking the rules".

Yet, instead, he is the one who then immediately got smart a$$ about it with his opinions of how "stupid" the rules are & "not being anyones bitch or personal atm".... Who the hell does he think he is?? As though John D is going to apologize & have a revelation in then changing the rules of his web site to accomodate this unknown person's suggestions of how the site should be run based upon his experience of other car forum sites. As though the rest of us are drones who've never experienced another car forum site, just nieve & don't know that there is another way. Just follow the light!

Then even worse, he & others act like its somehow out of line for some paying members to dare reply to his attacks on the rules of the site & defend them. Or how some paying members even suggest those who use & benefit from the site to consider being a paying member. Oh, the crimes against humanity!

All for $18!! Give me a break! Thats a nickel a day or less than half a tank of gas for your 928 folks! If you don't want to pay, don't pay. No justification or explanantion needed, nor wanted. Just participate & enjoy the forum for what it is. John obviously made that an option didn't he?

Here's the thing. At the top of this forum is thread with forum guidelines - 'rules', if you will, that clearly asks that you read them before you post here:

Within that thread is a post about posting stuff For Sale and Parts Wanted:

That topic pretty clearly indicates that posts that do not conform to those 'rules' will be deleted.

When you then post asking about wanting to buy an engine, we gotta ask ourselves if either you still haven't read that 'rules' thread (even after almost 200 posts here), or you had read it but feel the 'rules' don't apply to you.

Either way, it doesn't show you to be very considerate of this forum.

I honestly don't care what anybody does with their money, but why complain about $18? Clearly the thread creator wants to become a member, otherwise he wouldn't be complaining. So, if he wants to become a member, why not just pay the $18?
