It's gotta be me since I was the second fastest after Paul Anderson, or is it my car - the BMW Z4M Coupe - which is doing all the work for me?

Default Titanium pins 2

As an update to this, I spoke to Eurotech and the guy that actually built the 3 original UK Cup cars (including mine). He said the best of the 3 was a yellow 928 GTS race car, which had US$250,000 spent on it and that was 12 years ago. They got the weight down to 1100kg (before ballast) and used titanium extensively: not only on the pins, but virtually every nut and bolt in the suspension, including the camber/caster adjusters in titanium and even the tow hook. The car won every race it was entered into in its first season until a very bad accident effectively wrote it off. The following year (96 I guess) 928's were banned from the Cup series as the 928 was no longer a current Porsche model.
The car was later repaired by subsequent owners, but now has a space frame front end and is not being used. The original owner/drivers now race in the current GT championship in an Ascari and were in the top 3 last time I looked

I'd love to know some of the weight saving secrets they used other than the Ti.
