Question 89 Mec.S4 Cruise control

Hello!
As I check for sometime now this board the only cruise control systems that are mentioned are vaccum operated. Mine is ELECTRIC MOTORISED and off course inoperant...
The electric actuator is correctly working as I checked it but I need a diagram of the system to perform a further check.
Does anyone of you have this?

Thanks in advance.

Olive,
Motorized? Electric only? This is news to me.
Just for grins try Greg Nichols Homepage at
http urworldcompuserve.com/homepages/nichols/cat02.htm Yeah its kind of long but should work, add him as a 'link'under favorites for quick recall.
If that address does not work let me know and we will get you connected. If it does work look under electical.
later, Keep em' rolling and the shiny side up.

Olive,
Randy's address is, OBVIOUSLY, much quicker.
Save the link to favorites.
Randy, yeah I was perusing that very same item earlier. What's funny is I haven't even tried MY cruise control since I cleaned and tightened all electrical/vac connections. I guess I'll test the system tomorrow. I wish I could say I missed using the cruise but I don't. Pattycakes is just plain fun to drive.
Olive hope this helps, Randy thanks for the reminder.
Keep em' rolling

Always, every time, we need to know the year model of your car.

I think he hid that info in the title Wally - "89 Mec. S4" (though I'm at a loss as to what a 'Mec.' is).

Olive,
We don't bite. Truthfully, I can't speak for the others ... but, I haven't bit anyone in years. We might seem ... rude, thats the way we do it here. Kind of like fighting with your brothers and sisters for that last morsel of baclava(sp). Essentially, most of the sHARk guru's like to have year/model info. to narrow down the specific source of the problem and offer a possible cure.
In any case I hope your sHARk's cruise control is feeling better. Is it a Euro model? Let us know if you fix it or need additional help.
Later,
Keep em' rolling.
