Seats look ok. I had mine redone completely and had covers installed onto seats by a company in Ft. Laudaerdale, TRIMCAR.COM was the name on the web. They did great work at great prices.

FYI, those look like 944 seats (can tell from the "quilting") although they will fit a 928.

The inserts on '81 sport seats are more like this...although my seats weren't in the best shape.

Casey,

those are not original 928 seats. Even in the original versions, the 928 inserts were always made of separate pads, not sewn pleats.

Hrmmm...news to me! Looks like I was mistaken. Oh well, I got rid of those things a few months ago and replaced them with some more modern seats...996 seats. Alright Paul...go ahead...tell me they don't match my car. I just couldn't help it, I like the look so much better than those old seats...which were apparently not even 928 seats to begin with.

By the way, you can see a glimpse of my back seats in that picture. Have you ever seen 928 rear seats like that Paul? Every picture I see of older rear seats has them looking different.

Hey Casey,

that is what is most puzzling to me: you have a matching back section. I have never seen back seats like this in a 928 before.
I might be mistaken, I'm sure our resident experts will chime in if I am

At the very least, if someone did the transformation, they at least were professional enough to match everything.

By the way, nothing wrong at all with 996 seats

That's just how they came with the early sports seat option.

Oh, thanks. I always meant to ask, but I was going to wait until I posted the updated pictures of my interior.
